Lima, Peru
Lima, the capital of Peru, is a fantastic mixture of history, modern luxury, and a unique cultural heritage. Some of the most amazing things to see around Lima are the historical sites, for example, Pachacamac. Pachacamac is a 2,000-year-old site of stone and adobe palaces, temples, and pyramids that has had a mark left by every culture that has ruled the area for two millennia. Costa Rica
This Central American Republic is another locale with amazing beaches, history, culture, food, and people. The volcanoes and jungles in the area are some of the most visited in the world and are surrounded by an incredibly diverse amount of different flora and fauna.

Porto, Portugal
This historic and scenic city is known for having a medieval cobblestoned old town, the Ribeira, as well as a thriving and riveting modern night culture. If you go to the Ribeira be sure to check out the Igreja de São Francisco – a church whose interior is nearly completely covered in gold. This is a very popular summer destination in Europe.
Milan, Italy
This jewel of the Lombard region of Italy is drenched in history, art, fashion, and culture. You can hardly walk a kilometer without hitting an area either containing some historical relic or remembrance, or an area that was itself the site of some historic event at some point. Gdansk, Poland
Many don’t immediately associate Poland with tourist sites and destinations, but Gdansk is something you don’t want to miss. Picturesque and unique buildings dating back centuries punctuate a port city with a feel all its own. Gdansk has a unique history from the rest of much of Poland, and this difference is reflected throughout many aspects of the city. The Dlugi Targ (Long Market) market has long been a focal point for visitors and is a great place to see aspects of the town’s substantial involvement in the world’s amber trade.
Athens, Greece
Home to some of the greatest artifacts of the ancient world, Athens has remained a hub for visitors and sightseers for thousands of years. Home to a thriving city full of shops and restaurants with some of the best food in the Mediterranean, this ancient city is a very popular summer destination in Europe especially for Russians and northern Europeans.

Marrakech, Morocco
A beautiful city full of amazing architecture and unique flavors, Marrakech is a major city that has played a central role at the crossroads of two worlds. One of the must see sites is the Koutoubia Mosque, a Moorish minaret from the 12th-century. And be sure to check out the medina – a medieval walled portion of the city.
Cape Town Central, South Africa
Hiking, biking, restaurants – here there is everything you can want to help you escape your normal day to day. Near Cape Town is one of the ‘New Seven Wonders of Nature’ the Table Mountain National Park, home of Table Top Mountain. There is also the Unesco World Heritage Site Robben Island prison, site of a centuries old prison that held many an important figure – including Nelson Mandela.
Arusha, Tanzania
For those looking for safari and adventure, there is Arusha. Sitting at the base of volcanic Mt. Meru, Arusha is the hub for numerous wildlife and adventure expeditions – including those looking to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, the tallest peak in Africa. Zanzibar Island, Zanzibar Archipelago
An important hub for trade since before the Portuguese added it to their ocean based empire. Zanzibar was once synonymous with a distant and strange land, and while is still exotic and unique – it is much more accessible today. A site on the archipelago that you must see is the Jozani forest- full of monkeys and dozens of species of birds.
